Under the name Bahrambient, Vancouver-based producer Bahram Bahrami creates ambient soundscapes that blend classical, minimalist, and electronic influences. His music is meant to slow things down to capture the essence of a moment and giving it space to resonate.

Built on textured layers and soft pads that shape an immersive atmosphere, his compositions unfold gradually, with melodies that evolve, adding emotional depth to the atmosphere. As a guitarist, he often incorporates expressive, electronically processed swells that add a distinctive, human touch to the sound.

With over 10 million streams across platforms, Bahrambient has cultivated a global following, connecting with listeners from diverse cultures around the world.

Bahram’s musical journey began in the distortion-heavy world of heavy metal, where he first experienced the raw power of sound. As he delved deeper into music theory and composition, he began to explore the connections between formulas, mathematics, and the physics of music. Over time, he developed a keen sensitivity to atmosphere, exploring how different sounds shape musical movement and evoke distinct moods, which eventually led him to his current ambient projects.

“Bahrambient’s music enhances moments with evolving soundscapes. His atmospheric compositions complement visual storytelling, enriching the emotional depth of a scene and amplifying the mood for the audience.”
